Zorin OS 17.2 - Cannot Boot - System Error

Would this option work? My two USB discs are loaded with:
USB disc 1 - back-up of Zorin OS 17.2
USB disc 2 - RescueZilla is installed
Reinstall Zorin OS using the back-up data via RescueZilla
If I did this. How do I proceed safely? At what point in the system do I do this?

Your comments please.

How Rescuezilla works is this. Boot off your USB/DVD that holds Rescuezilla. Once launched it will ask if you want to make a backup or restore an image. You select restore. Now for this to work properly you will need to USB ports available, one for the Rescuezilla USB and a second for the USB that holds the backup image. You will be asked where you want to restore the image from - you choose the USB which has 17.2 on it - this has to be a full image of your hard drive, not just your /home folder. Then click on Next and you are asked where you want to restore to - select the partition/hard drive on your computer. Click on next. It can take some time.

Maybe You could describe this Error a bit more. So we could try to solve that and You wouldn't have to reinstall Zorin and use Your Back-Ups.

Thanks for your response.

Will this process fix my existing Boot system error?

Thanks for your response.

Before this boot system error I had dual boot set-up on my Notebook.
Windows 11 - SSD Drive
Zorin OS 17.2 - Spindle Drive
The dual boot system worked well between the two OS.

After the Boot system error. (see attachment 1)
Could boot into Windows OS with F12 with no problem.
Could NOT boot into Zorin OS - boot system error appears
With Aravisian (this forum) assistance I followed the System Recovery process (see attachments 2-6) could not access Zorin OS due to a Windows update.

Thanks!

I notice you have an earlier kernel in Zorin Menu. Does it boot with that?

Did You tried it with the systemctl reboot Command or the systemctl default Command like shown in Your first Picture?

Thanks for your response. I will give it a try and let you know.

Thanks for your response. I will try and let you know.

Could not boot with the earlier kernel. See attached screenshot.

Please advise further.

Tried all the system suggested commands. Notice on the last screenshot
some highlighted lines.

Please advise further.

Do You have Secure Boot in BIOS active? Please check that. If it is on, turn it off - Fast Boot, too. In Windows tunr off Fast Start-Up, too when you are able to get into Windows again.

Thanks for your response.
When I have done what you instructed.
What is the next step?

When it is all turned off - or at least the BIOS Things - then boot Your Machine and look if it works.

Thanks for your response. Followed your instructions.
Same result cannot boot (see attached screenshot)

"Cant find UUID"
This looks like it is not finding your EFI boot partition.

A recent Windows Update possibly can cause this...
Have you tried Grub Repair or reinstalling grub using the instructions and links I previously supplied to your PM?

On the previous slide the command "mount -a" could not be processed due the Red and Yellow highlighted process lines error messages.
(see attached screenshot)

Thanks for your response. No I have not tried GRUB repair.
Let me review and give it a try and let you know what happened.
