Two months ago I successfully installed Zorin OS 18 in my Laptop Lenovo - IdeaPad Slim 3i 15.6" Intel Core i3.
Bluetooth was working fine with my ONN. Bluetooth earphones.
I started having problems 20 days ago with the Bluetooth connection, while listening a YouTube video the Bluetooth connection suddenly stopped working, a that time somehow I was able to fix it.
Today I had the same problem after 8 minutes of listening a YouTube video the Bluetooth stopped working.
I disconnected my earphones and I set Zorin to forget them, when I tried to reconnect them back, the system didn't see them, and I wasn't able to connect them back.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Does Your system run in Wayland or X11? You can check that with the Command
echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE

Do you think a kernel update has happened since BT last worked? You could quickly try booting a previous kernel-generic version from grub menu item "Additional Options for Zorin" to test that theory.

First, try to logout and at the boton left on the logon screen you can switch to Zorin Desktop, you will be on X11 after. Try and say us if it's better
Second, if it doesn't make the job, @zabadabadoo have an interesting idea so you can try it
I would say also disable secure boot on your BIOS

I changed to X11 and was able to reconnect my ONN. earphones.

Yes you can, if all is working for you with X11

To make it short: Wayland and X11/Xorg ar Display Protocols. Wayland is a newer one but can have Issues depending on Implementation and used Hardware. X11/Xorg is an older Standard but more reliable. When it works fine, simply use that.
