Zorin OS 18 Core Lite Release Date and Downgrading from Core

Hi,
Is there a command line that allows me to switch from Zorin OS 18 Core to Zorin OS 18 Core Lite when it's released?
Or am I better off waiting for the Lite version to be released? (planned for when, approximately?)

It is not possible to switch from core to lite. It is better to wait until lite will be released. You could install zorin lite desktop on core and then remove gnome but I wouldn't recommend it. Lite uses a complete other desktop environment and is not just a smaller version of core.
Probably in a few months Zorin lite will be released.

When Lite is released in the Future (not now), You could on Zorin Core install the Lite Desktop with the Command sudo apt install zorin-os-lite-desktop and then uninstall the Zorin Core Desktop. I wouldn't recommend it that Way but You could do it so if You want.

But when You want use Lite anyway, I would suggest to wait until Zorin 18 Lite is released and install it then. Or: Install Zorin 17 Lite and wait for the Upgrade Possibility and then upgrade to Zorin 18 Lite.

Yes, but Zorin 18 Lite will be the last version of Lite.

Zorin 18 will have the last Lite Version. From Zorin 19 no longer. But You will then still have the Opportunity to install the xfce Desktop from the Repo's - but this will not be the Zorin Lite Desktop, it will be the normal xfce Destop without Zorin Customizations.
