Beneath disabling Hardware Acceleration in the Browser like @banger already sugegsted: Is Opera installed as .deb or Flatpak?

You can try it with the .deb version of opera (go to their website to download it) instead to see if it solves the problem. First uninstall the flatpak.
After the download doubleclick on the file to install the package.
It can also help to switch from Wayland to Xorg if you're on Wayland. Logout and at loginscreen click on your username then a cog wheal appears at the bottom right corner. There you can switch between Xorg and Wayland.

Could be a Point, yes. I would suggest to install the .deb Version linke @Forpli wrote and compare if it runs better. And to that try t with disabled Hardware Acelerration.
