I recently update my PC using the terminal. After update have been having difficulty connecting wifi. Presently no wifi is showing.
You may need Dynamic Kernel Module Support for your wifi driver to prevent it from failing with a kernel upgrade.
Can you please post the output of
sudo lshw -C network
yelsin@yelsin-Latitude-5298-2-in-1:~$ sudo lshw -C network [sudo] password for yelsin:

Are you dual booting with Windows?
Nope. I've another PC for windows
Ok, is this an Ideapad notebook?
I believe found the correct driver with DKMS...
How. I can't connect to the internet
Gday @Yelsin What device is the issue on?
Please let us know, thank you.
You maybe able to download to your mobile then transfer via cable to device.
Or tether your phone to device for connection.
Please wait for Aravisian to reply.
Yes, that is my fault, as I discovered that the notebook Make and model makes a difference after we had already posted a couple of times. I am not usually quite this inefficient...
Dell Latitude 5290 2-in-1
Core i7, 256 SSD, 16 GB Ram
In your network settings, are you attempting to connect with 5ghz or the 2.4ghz?
If on 5, please switch to 2.4ghz and test.
I am glad I stopped to confirm the machine- The dirver I found was specific to Lenovo - this is a Dell Latitude.
Still confident we can fix this - you may need firmware for the iwlwifi driver.
Can you replay the output of
dmesg | grep iwlwifi
and
ls -l /lib/firmware
It's now working... I didn't do anything to it.
I have sometimes that if my signal wifi is weak it depence where i am in the house.
