Zorin Os installation error

I was trying to install Zorin Os 18 Core and ended up giving this error after I chose Zorin (safe graphics) I tried others and the same error appeared "Timed out for waiting for the udev queue being empty"

In your BIOS settings, are you set to AHCI? Being in RAID can cause that error.

If set to AHCI already, it may be the net connection. Try installing disconnected from the net.

I'm trying to install a previous version, and it seems to be working.

It may be possible that when you downloaded 18 that the image may have been corrupted. Given the massive amount of downloads on launch day, I wouldn't be surprised if something happened along the lines. I would verify the image as well, especially if the older version (presumably 17?) works for you.

Welcome to the Forum!

Beneath checking the Checksum of the ISO like @applecheeks37 already mentioned, are Secure Boot and Fast in BIOS are disabled?

What Tool did You use the create the bootable USB Stick with Zorin on it? Does Your BIOS run in UEFI or Legacy Mode?

I tried to install Zorin 17 and it keeps loading infinitely in the update and installation window

my computer can't enable fastboot and secure boot, I did used Rufus and my bios is UEFI and Legacy mode

Did you choose MBR in Rufus as partition scheme when legacy mode in your BIOS is enabled?
When UEFI is enabled, choose GPT in Rufus.
