Zorin OS Onscreen Keyboard Issues On HP Elite X2 Tablet

My workplace was throwing away a stack of HP Elite X2 Tablets and I decided to grab them and throw Linux on one of them. Mint tends to be my preferred distro, but I heard Zorin was great for tablets. Decided to give it a go and so far I'm pretty pleased, but once in a while I run into an issue with the onscreen keyboard. I'll tap in a field, and the keyboard will come up, but it doesn't seem to send my inputs to the targeted field. I usually have to reboot to fix it, but eventually the issue comes back. i can see the keys light up when I tap them, so it seems to detect the touch, it just doesn't send the input. Any ideas what that might be?

On ZorinOS 18.1 Core.
