Zorin OS PRO for business company!

Hello, I'm interested in purchasing licenses to support development. However, I'd like to show the entire version to my company's HR team. Is there any way we can do this?

There are 18 companies with an average of 6,000 computers that I intend to upgrade to the Pro version of the system.

I don't have access to it yet, but I'd like to purchase a higher version, as mentioned above.

Is there a possibility of providing a trial key so I can demonstrate the system and familiarize my employees with it and its new features?

I'm afraid everyone here, including Ponce-De-Leon, are forum users like yourself--the moderators have simply been here longer, been helpful and upstanding, and so forth. They don't have business relationships with Zorin.

There's a business inquiry option on their contact form here, however, that seems to be just what you're looking for: About - Zorin

I should note however that for a corporate deployment you would almost certainly NOT want pro. There are two significant differences between Zorin Pro and Core. The first is that Pro comes with a few more options for UI layouts. You honestly may want these. The second is that Pro installs with a very wide range of open source software automatically, and you have no granularity at all. If you're installing Pro, you're installing everything. Don't need CAD software or CD/DVD burning software? Pro's installing it anyway. This will result in wasted disk space and unnecessary applications (and depending on your IT security policies, would complicate and slow down approval, since each third party application would also need to be approved).

Conversely, any software offered by Pro, with the exception of the layouts, can be independently installed if needed--it's all free open source stuff. Pro is just bundling it for convenience.

A deployment as large as you're considering might be a business opportunity for which the Zorin Group would consider a custom license that could get you the layouts if you're still concerned with those, but there are still several in Core that you could use for demonstration purposes.

Hello,

You need to contact @AZorin @zorink for this. I have tagged them so they see this post.

Besides @Locklear93's Contact here:

I would suggest that you simply use Zorin Core for Demonstration. There is all the neccessary Stuff included and You can show it. The additional Stuff what @Locklear93 already exlained are Things that You would have to Need. And for Demonstartion, You have the Possibility to use something from the Press Kit:

You can use the Core Version when it offers enough and You don't need the additional Layouts and preinstalled Software what it offers. And You can still support Zorin then with a Donation instead of buying the Pro Version:

Can I just say, how proud I am to learn, that a large company, is considering about deploying Zorin OS on 6,000 computers, among 18-company locations, thats amazing! :slightly_smiling_face: I couldn't be more proud right now.

I can't remember what country it is in Europe, maybe Norway, but its known they have schools, where they deployed Zorin OS Education, in their entire sector, I'm really happy when people get away from Microsoft! :+1:

I send new e-mail for Team Zorin, I will wait now.
Regarding the core version, I am aware that the pro version includes features that can be acquired otherwise, but the idea is really to contribute in some way.

It's possible to contribute via donation; they've got a link set up for that. Having to uninstall numerous unneeded apps on each deployment really makes Pro unsuited to business environments.

@mrcdev I assume you know of Zorin Grid development. It has been promised for some time and not yet appeared, but worth you tracking it for potential enterprise use: Zorin Grid - Manage all of your computers. As easily as one.
