Zorin OS Team: Please remove or block Kernel 7.0.0-28.28 update until bugs resolved

I've been on Zorin OS for a few months now and never had issues before but this troublesome kernel is persistent and still wants to download and install itself even though I have set "Security Updates only" in the Software & Updates.

History:

Kernel 7.0.0-28.28 installed itself and had an install error.

Performed Rollback with Time-Shift

uninstalled Virtual Box and that fixed it to where the system Updated the new kernel on the next "unattended update" and would boot up but the Nvidia driver did not load.

Tried to re-install the Nvidia driver but that errored out too.

Rolled back with Time-Shift and system works again!!!

Set updates to receive "security updates only" but the new kernel downloaded itself again on a unattended update.

This is more an Ubuntu Thing. But I would doubt that they remove/block it. they already know about one Issue but brought still the Kernel for the Security Updates.

So the broke new kernel has security updates within it's code and therefore is considered a "security update" ???

I had moved your thread to category feedback so that the developers see it. Don't you want that? You have changed that back to general help, but the developers read, above all, the feedback threads and not the other ones.

It is not a simple Security Update itself. They brought it because it includes Security Updates that they find important. So, they brought it.
