On two PCs. Either the icon doesn't show up or won't go away. No biggy since I can hear the printer so just turned the extension off.

Don't you mean Gnome Shell Extension for Printers? Zorin doesn't do extensions! (that I am aware of!)
Printers have always been a pain to work with, at least for me. Doesn't matter the OS I'm using, brand or how many drivers I install. Sometimes they work, sometimes they decide to take the day off, some other times a weird light turns on but continues to work normally and then disappears...

They have 8. Some are rebrands.
