I couldn't agree more. A true comparison, would be trying the different version OS's, on the same exact hardware, that is how true science is done.
Just one of my many favorite things about FrenchPress, a true scientist at her core, and she's darn good at it. 
Comparison is linux can run any machine from 1983.
