Zorin Pro not seeing network adaptors

I installed Zorin OS 18 Pro and booted it and no longer can not seeing network adapters.I tried to turn off the Secure Boot that the software turned on but this software in BIOS doesn't give the option. So there's not anyway that I can find to turn it off without being online. Is there anyone that knows a remedy?
Thanks

Can you tell us spec/model of your network adapters.

Also if you have received a kernel update you could try and roll-back to older 6.14 kernel if you have it.

  • Do a Restart
  • then from grub menu item "Additional Options for Zorin".
  • select a 6.14...kernel generic version.
  • Boot that and test.

Welcome to the Forum!

To be sure about the Status of Secure Boot could You type in Terminal mokutil --sb-state please? This should show if Secure Boot is enabled or not.

Did You tried Zorin in Live Mode before You have installed it? If yes: Did Network worked there?

Could You post the Output of the Commands sudo lshw -C network and rfkill list please?

And could You also check if Your System runs in Wayland or X11? you can do that in Settings>System>Systemdetails>Info or alternatively in the Terminal with the Command echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE

Man I'm sorry I never got notified of your advice. I'm still having the same problem so I will try this. TBH I'm ready to send this back under the 30 day warranty. Thanks so much for the advice.

Thanks and I will run all those and post. Sorry for late reply I nerver got notified.
