Zorin stuck while installing it

In the PopUp window where you select the Partition format, etc, do you see a Drop down Menu for Mount point?
Set that to /

Umm, I have a question why it can't just detect a windows 10 ? and have a option for it? Like alongside option.

I have found a solution should i try that or do what I'm doing now.

In my own opinion... Switching from AHCI or From RAID if you are dual-booting is tricky. It's fine if you are only booting one OS. But if dual booting, what if Windows must have it set or RAID or AHCI and you change it?
I would see if what you are doing now works, first. If it does, great.
If not, you can try the other.

I don't see anything like that

Tell me about this steps:-
1.) delete the partition space which will create free space.
2.) then right click and add
Logical with end of the space selected and use as a swap, also defining the ram memory
This forms a new partition with swap name.
3.) the previous free space use a ext 4 journeling file system and mount is /.

Are these right steps. I saw these on yt.

Ok it fails again I think.

rip........

Primary Partition, I Believe. The rest are correct.

The thing i did is delete the partition which created a free space and then right click on it after that I right clicked on it and add then with defaults options and then in mount is /.
But again I think everything is rip now:(

Also why do we need specify ram with swap is it necessary?

It's useful... Not a big deal, really. And you can always create a new Swap file easily after installation.

Is your computer an Acer?

Lenovo it is. Is disabling tpm necessary I didn't did that

what should I choose in device boot loader installation?

Should i do this next time?

The partition you had set aside for Zorin OS.

It's worth referencing if this installation attempt does not work.

Hello, i got new option which is showing after I deleted the zorin os drive and made it like unallocated space and now it detects like this window boot manager.

And now I have a option which says install alongside with windows Boot manager.
I'm choosing it this time

Would You like to unmount these partition again?

Nvm it fails again idk it's saying application are using mount point please close everything but windows 10 is already shut down rip.

@Aravisian, any idea to fix mount point problem. It's saying that application are using mount point and it can't unmount. Close every applicating that using mount points.
