Zorin Taskbar Floating Mode without Autohide

Ladies and Gentlemen,

today I want share a little Idea for the Taskbar. Now it is so, that the Floating Taskbar is only available when You turn on the Autohide Option, click on the Gear Icon and then You can activate it. I would like to have it without Autohide.

So, I would suggest to put the Option to activate/deactivate the Floating Taskbar directly in the Style Tab. And the Autohide Function would be seperately. So, you could activate the Floating Taskbar and it would be permanently appear or - when You have the Autohide Option active - it would disappear like it now do.

Great idea! This is what I wanted, but discovered it's only possible with autohide turned on.

I completely agree. Since there are so many other taskbars i ended up not caring too much, but surely a +1 from me!

Good idea @Ponce-De-Leon :star_struck:

Another idea, custom colors for the taskbar.
I don't want the dark mode for Zorin but the dark taskbar would be nice!

Good Idea, too. As a Workaround, You could use the Gnome Extension Dash To Panel which is a Taskbar like the Zorin one, but with more Settings Options - and there is an Option for set up a custom Color for the Taskbar.
