Hello,
Nvidia driver 390 works fine with base kernel 6.2, further updates to 6.5 breaks the driver due to compilation errors belongs to gcc
version concerns as I understood on other forums.
The best option to avoid complications is to stick with kernel 6.2 permanently and to drop future updates.
Please advice on how to block kernel updates beyond 6.2 no matter what and to avoid it while running apt update && apt upgrade -y
to update other applications and packages.
Thanks,
