I have recently decided to make the jump over to linux/Zorin OS and have just installed it along side Win11 on my HP OmniBook Ultra laptop. I am having an issue when i boot into Zorin OS is that it wont boot at all and I just get a black screen. The duel boot screen loads and I can get into Win11 and I can get into Zorin OS if I go through the advanced options.
Have you turned secure and fast boot off in the BIOS? Also, have you gone into Win 11, show hidden power settings to prevent hard drive from going into sleep mode?
Secure boot and fast boot are off in the BIOS and I have prevented the HDD from going in to sleep mode, and Zorin is still not booting.
I had this problem an hour ago, check if the Zorin partition is GPT as Windows 11 or not, you should install Zorin OS and Windows OS on GPT or MBR same as each other...

Did You turned off Fast Start-Up in Windows, too?
Is Your BIOS in UEFI or Legacy Mode?
What Tool did You use for creating the bootable USB Stick?
What Graphics Card do You have?
