seems to be a major problem to 'some' forum moderators bewildering to know why?
Aravisian (community leader?) seems to be the sole instigator. What on earth does does deleting an account and posts have any relevance to a forum?
Does anyone with knowledge of the subject know what it's about?
Got tired of Forpli going on about mint problems on a zorin forum, especially since it wasn't a major problem.
But then got bushwhacked by some sort of community leader and their associate, which I thought was rather silly.
Well, if posts were deleted, there could've been a civility issue. See the link for the forum guidelines and the quote below for the general help section's bit about user moderation.
As far as discussing Linux Mint, both Zorin and Mint are based on Ubuntu (not considering Mint's special Debian only version): so, problems and their respective solutions are often applicable to both.
As a more frequent forum lurker than poster, I've found the moderators to be fairly patient, and I generally trust their discretion.
Just be calm, be civil, and be welcomed.
You got the Explanations here:
Thanks for the advice and input from you guys, but simply want out and don't like some stranger trying to control what and what not can do. leaving behind anything is peanuts so don't appreciate the hold on what is up for deletion
we had a run in once and probably a misunderstanding @Ponce-De-Leon but have also respected your help and advice and solutions, but not once, until cornered, did so and so reveal it was specifically for a mint os... read the posts
As I pointed out here:
...and here:
No accounts were deleted.
No posts were deleted.
No threads were deleted.
As pointed out here:
It was the very first thing he said in a not very long thread. In no way was anyone "making an admission once cornered."
By engaging in ad hominem, you were moderated.
Lastly, as pointed out here:
Cluttering the forum by bypassing thread closures repeatedly is grounds to have your account suspended.
Do not bypass thread closures by opening new ones on the same topic.
