Bonjour,
This problem unfortunately sometimes occurs. You have already made good settings. I think there is no good workaround (but I'll search for one) to solve the problem except going into suspend manually by a button in startmenu, the power button (when it is set to effect suspend) or a keyboard shortcut. Suspend by lidclosing and the automatically suspend in power saving settings/screen saver settings make problems on some machines when waking up.
Hibernate (suspend to disk) is even more problematic in linux and because of this often disabled.
If there are furthermore problems with suspend, you could consider to turn only screen off instead of going to suspend and for longer absences use shutdown.
Disable secure boot and fast boot in your BIOS. If you have Dualboot with Windows, then also fast startup in Windows.
Did You take a Look in the Logs? There is a Program directly called ''Logs''. You could look if there are some Error-Entries.
Another Thing: Does Your System run in Wayland or X11? You can check that in Settings>About. When it runs in Wayland, You could try it with switching to X11/Xorg.
To do that, go to the Login Screen (not the Lock Screen). Simply reboot for that. On the Login Screen click on Your Profile so that the Password Field appears. When it is appeared, You should see in the bottom right Corner a Gear Icon. Click on it and choose the Option ''Zorin Desktop on Xorg'' and then log in.
