Bluetooth in zorin 18.1

i just installed Zorin 8.1 but when i try to turn on the Bluetooth wont and turns off (wont stay on)

• Are Secure Boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled?
• If Windows is still installed: Is Fast Start-Up in Windows disabled?
• Did You checked the ''Additional Drivers'' Tab in Software & Updates if there is a Driver offered?
• What Kernel is in Usage? You can check that with the Command uname -r via Terminal
• Does Your System run in Wayland or X11? You can check that with the Terminal Command echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
• Is it built-in Bluetooth or a Dongle?
• Could You post the Output of rfkill list please?

If you are dual-booting, I discovered that Windows grabs the bluetooth connection and sometimes they only way to get this to work in GNU/Linux is to copy the bluetooth key from Windows and insert it in GNU/Linux, but no guarantees.

Do you have Bluez and Bluman installed?

If the device is greater than Bluetooth 4, then you may need some additional packages using Synaptic Package Manager - see the screenshots in my Tutorial here:

Also, what adapter are you using? Built-in or USB? I have had issues with certain USB adapters that exhibited this behaviour: would initially turn on but then turn off and disappear. The only reliable Bluetooth adapters for Zorin I have found so far are TP Link.
