I'm currently using Zorin Core (Pro) 18 and everything was fine until a week ago where I would get the flashing cursor and blank screen. I have been going into recovery mode, running dpkg, and then going to boot and it has worked until today. I followed the recommended steps in https://forum.zorin.com/t/boot-halts-at-blank-screen-with-blinking-cursor/25043 but after the reconfigure command I am getting the following: "use of uninitiaized value $value in substitution (S///) at /usr/share/per15/Debconf/Format/822.pm line 66, <ANONIO> chunk XXXX" where XXXX is a slew of chunk numbers, and eventually the command ends with: "*** stack smashing detected ***: terminated aborted" Any ideas?
Hi, as you have the Pro version I would raise a ticket with Team Zorin:
