Whenever i boot into zorin, it always shows "Dell" & "Zorin" logo together....like the Dell logo in the centre as usual (if boot into windows 11)...and the Zorin logo shows right beneath the Dell logo..... I feel kind of awkard.....
i am using macbook air....and the boot logo is apple logo...
i am using windows 11 - and the boot logo is blue four-square logo
i am using linux mint on my Dell laptop (separate partition)...and the boot logo shows "LM" logo
While booting into Zorin - it always shows "Dell" & "Zorin" logo together....pls can you fix this...I don't know if this happens with anyother brand laptop. Is there any way to fix this.....It should only show Zorin logo (without dell logo) at the time of boot...
thanks
I had that on my Machine, too. But with the Gigabyte Aorus Logo. I could turn off the Aorus Logo in the BIOS. there stands something like ''Full-screen Logo Show'' and I disabled that. Now I only have the Zorin Logo at the bottom. I don't know if Your Machine offers such an Option, but You could take a Look.
Yeah, I have HP and Zorin logos when I log in... it's always been that way. When I log into Windows, I get the HP logo first and then the Windows logo.
This is normal. It depends on BIOS settings whether the Motherboard logo is shown. On my old computer, only the Zorin OS logo displayed. On my new one, the Gigabyte was centered with the Zorin OS logo beneath it.
In the motherboard BIOS settings, you may find "OEM logo" or "Show full Logo" options which can be set to disabled.
If your BIOS lacks a setting for it, you may be able to elevate to Root, navigate to /usr/share/plymouth/themes/zorin-logo/zorin-logo-plymouth and in the following lines, change "UseFirmwareBackground=true" to "UseFirmwareBackground=false":
