Hi. I installed Linux Mint Debian Edition on a client's Acer notebook which proved problematical on first two attempts after I thought I had deleted Windows 10 with GParted.
I use Ventoy, as this has a MOK utility which allows you to enrol the necessary EFI key into the BIOS. Problem solved.
