Hello !
thanks in advance for your help !
I freshly installed Zorin on HP Probook 450 G2.
After first reboot, i got an PXE-E61 error, i looked here :
Hello, I am new in the forum. I have been using Zorin for a long time, but just joined this site. I never had a problem with Zorin and that is great. However, this is the first time I have an issue and I think it is going to be minor. I do not have enough experience and that is what brought me here.
I have an old version of Zorin installed on a Lenovo X220. I wanted to try Zorin 16.2 via live USB. I went through the installation options but did not start the installation process. I shut down m…
and i fixed it.
Then i got a boot loop with "Reset system" message.
I finally accessed to the BIOS and change some settings but i still have issues.
The thing is that i can boot manually from here :
and then i can see "Ubuntu"
And Zorin launch fine from here.
But i'm unable to automatically launch Zorin...
How to do from here ?
Boot options
I go to Advanced section
But ubuntu option doesn't appear here...
Thank you for your help !!
Normally, You should move the ''ubuntu'' Entry to the first Position. Can You move it with the Arrow Keys?

No, i can't...
If i press F9, i can choose Ubuntu but not the order, it directly launchs Zorin.
If i press F10, i can choose the order but Ubuntu is missing...
Just out of curiosity, do you have the live usb of Zorin around? You could try running boot-repair from the live USB and see if that helps the situation. Does the error you see when you boot normally just say "Reset system"? Could you give a shot of that too so we could see that?

If i choose Legacy boot, i got this error :
If i choose UEFI boot (Secure boot disable and FastBoot disable) i got this error "System reset" :
Boot loop
I tried to fix it with Boot repair following this tutorial :
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair
and i got this message :
but still broken
so i finally tried Custom boot with the following line :
But, nope, it doesn't work.
Here is the log of Boot repair :

Any suggestions ?
Hmm ... if You should still have the bootable USB Stick with Zorin on it, start it in the Try Mode and look for GParted. Open it and choose Your Drive and make a Screenshot and post it here please. Maybe something with the Partitions is wrong.

That looks for me so far okay. But the first Entry grub2 core.img
I don't understand.
When You installed Zorin, did You choose the ''Erase disk'' Option for Installation or the ''Something else'' one?
And what Tool did You use to create the bootable USB Stick?

I choosed "delete hard drive and install Zorin"
i solved the problem doing this "Reset BIOS security to Factory default"
It erased Fingerprint related stuff and cleared the TPM (Trusted Platform Module).
Thank you for your time !
