Bunch of NVIDIA updates right after Kernel 7.0.0-28 update ruined my pc

When my pc got the kernel 7.0.0-28 update, there was no problem. it worked perfectly. but after that update, I got bunch of NVIDIA updates.

spesifically these ones. when I updated my PC, it basically ruined it. Chrome started at Xwayland mode. Bottles started crashing. the system felt slower and unstable. Thankfully, TimeShift takes a snapshot of my pc everytime I boot it. I went to before the NVIDIA updates. it fixed it completely. But now I basically cannot update my PC because Im scared. What should I do? oh, by the way, I use NVIDIA 580 drivers with RTX 3060 and Wayland. I dont want to switch to X11.

Hi, done a search and found Wayland can be an issue with nvidia drivers still.
Apparently 580 drivers are incompatible with the kernel version in use.

A possible solution would be to use the nvidia-driver-580-open instead of the proprietary version.

I would also be curious to know if you would get a better experience with a Liquorix kernel.

thank you! I swithed to open driver. it worked. but then bottles started to working very laggy. then I did some research etc. and, ironically, I tired to switch back to the close driver and both chrome, bottles and pretty much everything worked perfectly!
