Can't get icons onto desktop

Tried tearing my hair out. Nothing, possibly because there is nothing to tear.

See if you disabled Icons on Desktop option on Zorin Appearance > Desktop. The glitch with the context menu is a known issue, just tweak Intellihide panel settings by right-clicking the taskbar > Taskbar Settings > Intellihide Panel, this glitch is really annoying .

Hi everyone, Just thought I would post a hello. I'm a new Linux user, started with Mint about three months ago but thought I would give Zorin a go (and probably others in the future) I have run in to one quirk with Zorin - if I set the taskbar to intellihide I cant then right click anything on the start menu, if I try the start menu just shuts. I discovered this trying to pin Thunderbird to the desktop. Hopefully I wont run into too many issues such as this
