Hi and welcome. As you own the Pro version you can get help directly from Team Zorin by raising a ticket here:

Welcome to the Forum!

Did You checked if the Changing of the Monitor maybe reset the Display Manager to Wayland? If not look in Settings>About and there for the Line ''Window Manager'' and if there stands X11 or Wayland.

Should there stand Wayland, go to the Login Screen and click on Your Profile so that the Password Field appears. It has to be appeared! When it is appeared, You should see in the bottom right Corner a Gear Icon. Click on it and choose the Option ''Zorin Desktop on Xorg'' and log in.

Thanks I think you where correct because plank dock disappeared I have managed to restore the NVIDIA driver and got the dock back I can now change the display to 4K resolution but finding it impossible to get 5.1 sound from HDMI audio output. Front right centre and left work but rear speakers come out of the front I have a duel boot with windows and every thing works fine I even get Dolby Atmos lighting up on the sound bar, Thanks for your help

Yes, Plank doesn't work on Wayland, only on Xorg.

Because of the Sound: You could try it with PulseAudio Volume Control. You can install it with the Terminal Command:

sudo apt install pavucontrol

When You open it, and there go to the Configuration Tab and select there Your HDMI Port, You can choose Your Audio:

Thanks I have spent 2 days on copilot troubleshooting this with no joy, you would think a fully working os with pulse and alsamixer set correct I would just need to select hdmi as the default audio output and it work my duel boot windows 11 works fine
