Then run

sudo apt update && sudo apt install linux-zabbly

Unfortunately I still have the same problems (no animation or night mode) but the colors are the right ones.

I must have missed seeing these mentioned somewhere along the line.
What do you mean by "no animation"? Applications lack animations? Special launcher animations? The boot screen Plymouth animation?

At least the O.P. is taken care of, then...

I would have liked to record my screen for you, but I can't, probably because of the kernel. In fact, everything lags enormously and I have no animation at all (menus appear all of a sudden, the 3D desktop change doesn't work any more...).

Let's see if update Mesa and other graphics helps:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers

sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade

Reboot and test...

I tried, but this is not it, I was already up to date.

What about temps? Can you use psensor to monitor your CPU/GPU temps and see if they are running high?
You may need to set the fan speed in BIOS settings (Avoid "quite mode").

I'm at around 40°C, which I think is fine.

I agree, those are normal.
I am at a loss at the moment. Really, the Arc drivers are quite new. They only just began getting kernel support and most users of Arc are using above Ubuntu 23.10 or are on Rolling distros.
You may need to try a different distro.

It's sad but I'll try
Do you know if I can come back to zorin later?

You can always come back to zorin anytime.
Some people go off distro hopping on occassion to try and overcome a compatibility issue or just to see if the grass is greener on the other side. They often come back to zorin after their adventures.
You can continue here on the forum, even if you are not currently using zorin.

I think I'm going to change distro at least to wait for some updates, but in any case, rest assured that I'll be back to Zorin very soon as it's by far the best distro I've had!
