First it made me chuckle that Dell still use the the terminology of (Minimal, Thorough & auto) still,
I have a "New" Dell VOSTRO 1500 laptop (Well it was New in 1999 when i purchased it 
) & it has the same , good old Dell.

Are you now running dual boot successfully on kernel 6 with just the audio issue now remaining?
It's such event that make me sad. It gives a bad impression of Linux. Not directly though.
But I hope it won't discourage you to Linux.
The experience only diminishes my opinion of DELL support. My opinion of Linux and Zorin remains good and I have been recommending Zorin to all my friends. We have now ported our software to Linux as I believe Zorin is a much better option for our users: karyotyper.com
It may look the same but is very different, there is also a 2nd solution on that link did you try that?

Have you updated UEFI firmware?(I think this has been asked).
Also asked to check "Alsamixer" show output's of all your card setting?
As i see your laptop has been tested/certified by Dell, with Ubuntu 20.04 kernel 5.14, also Ubuntu 22.04/kernel 5.15
Zorin OS 16 should run out of the box, as Zorin OS runs on the Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.

I have tried many combinations of options. Currently I have installed the Cannonical Ubuntu Linux: uname -> 5.19.0-46 generic #47-22/04.1 Ubuntu
I have tried varius suggestions from above. one of them causing me to have to reinstall linux because I could not get it to start the window manager.
The DELL XPS 13 Plus is very mainstream. There needs to be a tried and tested recipe for getting it to boot Zorin (and or Cannonical Ubuntu) Hopefully a future version will work out of the box.
UEFI firmware is upgraded to latest version:
sudo dmidecode -V -> 3.3
I think I have also tried a kernel update in the past to 6.2 (could have exact nunber wrong)
It feels like there is specialised drivers missing that are required to hit the DELL hardware. I cannot see a resolution until DELL release these drivers into the community.
Hi - I came across this thread the other day when trying to install Zorin OS on my 9320 (Brand new with Ubuntu Pre Installed). Suffice it to say, it didn't end well. I ran into the same issues as the OP. When I tried to revert back to Ubuntu 22.04 via the Dell Recovery Image the WIFI, Audio and Display issues persisted. Unfortunately, I did not take a system backup before attempting to install Zorin (lesson learned). Ultimately, I reinstalled Ubuntu 22.04 using the image directly from the web (not the dell recovery tool). The key for me was including the Dell driver repository for my machine (jammy-somerville-tentacool-rpl). Ran this in my terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository 'deb http://oem.archive.canonical.com/updates jammy-somerville-tentacool-rpl public'
updated, upgraded and rebooted. From there I was able to select the additional drivers from Intel to get everything working again.
Also, I did try to use this same method in Zorin, but was not able to get things working with 'focal-somerville-tentacool'. Maybe someone else more versed in these things will have better luck or better input.

Try this
1st run
sudo apt update
then
sudo ubuntu-drivers install
reboot & try your wifi/sound.
Please show the output of:
sudo lshw -C network
also
sudo lshw -C sound

Apologies for being away from this thread for so long. I have now returned and am attempting once again to get Zorin to work acceptably on my Dell XPS 13 Plus (9320) (Windows preinstalled)
I have tried the
sudo add-apt-repository 'deb http://oem.archive.canonical.com/updates focal-somerville-tentacool public'
and followed the instructions in Index of /updates regarding the NO_PUBKEY error and adding the GPG key.
All this to no avail when trying to get my laptop to run Zorin OS 16.2 16 focal.
Is there really no solution to getting Zorin working on my Dell XPS 13 Plus (9320) with sound, camera, wifi and proper screen support?
At at my wits' end and feel so foolish for buying this laptop.
FWIW discussion with DELL over a LONG period of time and the writing of an email to CEO Michael Dell, confirm that they cannot support this model for Linux and the very similar version they ship preinstalled with Linux does NOT have the 3K screen and consequently has a different mother board.
It appears I have purchased an expensive doorstop as running WIndows only is of little use to me.
ANY help will be VERY greatly appreciated!

Starting from scratch I have installed Zorin 16.2 and followed Aravisian suggstion of
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tuxinvader/lts-mainline
sudo apt update && sudo apt install linux-generic-6.02
uname -r gives: 6.2.16-060216-generic
This gives Zorin with Wifi and more screen resolutions to choose from, but still no support for the camera or sound.
DO NOT attempt to enable fractional scaling in display settings. It does not work and it can lock up the screen, keyboard and mouse. I had to reboot in recover mode to untangle that!
Fascinating. It appears that in order to provide Linux support, they changed out some hardware and created a different model.
While I am a true Linux supporter, I am not blind to its shortcomings. Fractional scaling is one of them. Full 4k support is still a work in progress on Linux.
If the hardware is the primary cause - the simplest solution may be to use a Linux compatible Plug n' Play Camera and Sound Card. While these would be additional purchases, they may ease your troubleshooting frustration.
I think it is a case that the motherboard is different for the 3K and 4K screen configs. That motherboard difference, apparently, affects onboard hardware designs beyond that of just the screen.
I think that they just went with doing a preinstalled Linux version with only the 4K, and hence the drivers are just not there for the 3K version.
Dell have no plans to make Linux driver support for my configuration. That means I doubt I can expect a solution any time soon.
Re Fractional Scaling - I can live with the range of options it now gives me as native resolutions.
Re Camera and Sound. I tried pairing a blue tooth speaker but that did not work either.
Overall, I have wasted a lot of money 
Maybe... upcoming developments within Linux may be helpful. Even if a bit of patience is needed.
