I've been having issues with Discord not showing my Steam activity. I have the settings enabled for it, I tried add game but it didn't detect the game I was playing (or any game at all). The only exception I've found was Marvel Rivals. It worked without fail, down to the type of match I was playing. Every other game on Steam doesn't work like this. I'm trying to do a quest on Discord and it's due by June 7, so I'll take any help I can get promptly.

How did you install steam ? in the software store ? if yes does it was flatpak ?
I think I got it from the site. And it says Zorin OS APT
uninstall it and try to install it from here, press 'install Steam' it will download a deb file, just double click on it to install
So go to Software and install the Flatpack/hub version of it?

Im playing the game, it works fine. But I check Discord and it's still not showing.
how did you install discord ?
I originally installed it via the site, but I was told there would be issues with it. So I reinstalled it via Software, Flatpak ofc.
I would try deb file from here and uninstall flatpak version

I did what you said, and those settings were already enabled (which I told you about in the first post), it all works fine but my game isn’t showing on Discord.

if t's wayland switch to Xorg:
- Logout
- At the login screen, click your username (don't enter password)
- Click the gear icon in the bottom right
- Select "Zorin Desktop on Xorg"
- Log in
So not only does the game run worse now. It still isn’t showing on Discord. Tbf, it may be a WiFi issue, and also I checked the add games section and it sees my game, but it isn't counting the progress at all so we're kinda getting somewhere

I switched to Xorg and I'm having the same issue. But it sees my game, it's just not acknowledging the progress. I was supposed to play it for 15 minutes, it's been about 2 hours. It still says 0
