Hi there! I'm having issues with audio on my laptop. If anyone can help, would be greatly appreciated.
I probed it on linux-hardware, got this: https://linux-hardware.org/?probe=5bb89b562a
Feel free to check that out, or ask me any questions.

Both Zorin OS 17 and 18 use a higher kernel than 6.5.
It looks like there is a regression after 6.5 for your audio controller.
Moving to the 6.5 kernel should restore sound:
You could try the solution mentioned at point "dummy output":
Welcome to the Forum!
You could try it with PulseAudio Volume Control. It is a Tool to set up Audio Input and Output. You can install it with sudo apt install pavucontrol
Another Thing: Does Your System run in Wayland or X11/Xorg? In Zorin 17, You can check it in Settings>ABout. In Zorin 18 in Settings>System>Info>Systemdetails.
Hi there! Thank you for the welcome ^^
My system uses X11. I have also tried pavucontrol, and it didn't work for me.
Thank you! I couldn't downgrade my kernel, but what worked instead for me was editing etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf and adding blacklist snd_soc_avs

Should post #2 or post #6 "your top answer" be marked as Solution. It can be changed.
The O.P. referred to jpr's solution in the link in post number 2.
