Did You checked the Checksum of the ISO? Are secure Boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled?

hmm,, not sure here someone can chime in on this but not sure that 18 will work well with only 4GB ram maybe 17.3 lite? just asking of course will have to correct the .ISO error/usb stick

It worked well for me, it used about 1.4 GB on startup and went to 2.6 with several Brave tabs (3 or 4) opened, where one was a twitch stream. So I would say that it works good for basic usage (internet and mail as main usage). Zorin created for that a 4GB swap space, which was about more than half used during such use.

(Note: I have since then upgraded to 8GB and SSD, and I can say that it is the SSD which improved the most the general performance.)

ah i remember when i did that it was like WOW this thing is fast I use 16GB on this machine and have 32GB on my backup both have zorin 18 pro on them in case something needs replacing on my main computer im betting it works better with more ram and the ssd?

Yes, it is working better with the 8GB of ram and the ssd, as I said the major difference is the SSD, everythings loads faster. The 8GB of ram brings more comfort when I open more tabs in the browser or more programs.
But I have to say that zorin 18 was usable and comfortable also before the upgrade (meaning with 4GB ram and hdd) comparing to windows 10 where it was barely usable and have to wait 5 minutes after login and each program took 1 minute to open.
I could even play "pico park classic edition" (a 2015 game which recently got an online mode added) on it, despite my laptop being below the minimum system requirement. Thanks to linux needing less ram that windows, I guess. I still had the 4GB and hdd for that game, but it only worked in windowed mode, not fullscreen.
This old machine is a 2010 hp pavilion dv7 (only the battery is dead, and the fingerprint reader doesn't work, I had to disable it when updating the laptop from windows 7 to windows 10; so I don't use it anyway since years)

:+1: awsome

Burn the ISO: Try using tools like Balena Etcher or Rufus to burn the ISO image to the USB drive. These tools are known for their reliability.

Verify the ISO: Make sure the Zorin 18 ISO image is complete and undamaged. You can compare the file hash with the one provided on the official Zorin website.

Try another USB drive: If you have another USB drive available, try using it to see if the problem persists.

Update Ventoy: Make sure you are using the latest version of Ventoy, as updates may include compatibility improvements. Ventoy has two boot modes: Grub 2 and Normal (Legacy) mode. If you try to boot in an unsupported mode, you may encounter this error. Another cause is a poorly downloaded or corrupted ISO; the Zorin image may be damaged or incomplete. Another cause of Ventoy compatibility issues is certain BIOS/UEFI configurations (UEFI vs. Legacy/CSM). The BIOS/UEFI configuration can affect how Ventoy loads the ISO.
