According to a somewhat amusing Linux Mint forum thread, resetting the CMOS jumpers resolved the issues on this. Another post suggested reinstalling the OS worked. Other than that... it's usually a Hardware or BIOS issue.
Is it because I created /boot and efi partitions that it's an error?
...maybe? If you had set up and created the partition, but then installed Zorin on MBR as Legacy...
