I’ve observed that when I launch Steam (in flatpak) on Zorin OS and lock my laptop, if I wait for 2 minutes and then enter my session password, Zorin OS becomes completely unresponsive. I’m then forced to perform a hard restart (REISUB). This issue doesn’t occur on other operating systems with the Gnome DE (Fedora, Ubuntu, Linux MINT).

GPU: Intel WhiskeyLake-U GT2 [UHD Graphics 620]
GPU: AMD ATI Radeon 540X/550X/630 / RX 640 / E9171 MCM
Linux ZorinOS 6.5.0-28-generic #29~22.04.1-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Thu Apr 4 14:39:20 UTC 2 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
However, I’ve found several “solutions” on my own, as I haven’t seen anyone discussing this problem on the Internet. The first solution was to install the snap, but it no longer works because it has been completely discarded by Canonical. The solution I currently use is to install Flatseal and delete the “org.freedesktop.ScreenSaver” line in the “Session Bus” section, which resolves my problem.
Can anyone explain what’s happening?
