I've heard of Zorin a long time ago and today, finally I've decided to give it a spin.
I've always been a Puppy Linux user and anything low resource focused distro like Lubuntu. I'm all about speed. So, Im really hoping Zorin will be a performer. Been hearing a lot of good things about Zorin lately. So here I am. Looking forward to learning what Zorin is all about.
Hey @freshjeff . Thanks for the warm welcome. I get a great feeling of satisfaction when I bring life to older PCs. Having said that, I just acquired an old dell with 4th gen processor i3-4150 that I upgraded to a Xeon E3 1270 V3. So far so good. I think the bottleneck will be the hard drive (old style with moveable parts), but will soon be looking into SSD. I'll just clone it when I get one so I wont have to do a fresh install
I joined Zorin OS when they had version 9, and Zorin OS just gets better with every version. I do agree with what has been said, if your computer is low spec, Zorin OS Lite might just be your ticket to supreme success.
I also agree, should you have any issues, feel free to post them, and will try our best to help you. As you can see, the forum is broken up into different categories, just to help keep posts organized.
Hopefully the site is easy to navigate for you. I really hope you enjoy Zorin OS as much as I do. If your a gamer, I think you are stellar! Have a truly wonderful day or evening.
