Idk if u mean the red dot with the "!" Thing, but if thats so, yes, the command helped and that doesent appear anymore
Ok so, i have now 2 questions, how can i use my brave browser, cuz i tried to open, open in terminal, uninstalm and install, even installing firefox, but im gettin out of options, and i could try vivaldi or so, but before i do that, i wanna keep trying
And second, does any of u know why when i play slipstream (i recommend u guys that game, and if u like things like top gear/racer, outrun and classic arcade racing games based on drifting, u should give it a try, it has a native linux version), everything is fine, but if i try to play with my xbox gamepad (xbox one s), the game crashes my whole system, does any of u guys knows why that happens?, (also, the recommendation part sounded like spam, but no, i just really enjoyed the game).
And thanks a lot guys, u make me feel loved, i love linux and i officially say, im staying with zorin ![]()
Ok so, as an update, i deactivated the vibration on slipstream and now it works, and it was a bit obvious, cuz my gamepad vibrates so much that it can be classified as A THING I DONT WANNA SAY BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO BE VULGAR, but yeah that was it
Browsers should just launch... So trying a bunch of ones probably won't solve the underlying issue.
My first suspect would be something wrong with the Graphics stack is none are launching.
How can u do that?, its there like a command or somethin?
Please remind of what GPU and drivers you are using:
sudo lshw -C video
The intel looks fine. What about the Nvidia?
nvidia-smi
Will Brave Browser launch with Hardware Acceleration and GPU disabled?
brave --disable-gpu --disable-software-rasterizer
So i used the command and its says brave is not installed, so it says that i can try with sudo snap install brave,
now it says installed, now i have 2 braves, but one works xd, (btw, yes, i was typing in real time while this things were loading, thats why its sounds like im roleplaying but no, i wasnt xd)
You avoided Flatpak, but took the Snap.
Well, if it works for you - you can just use that. But it shows two installed probably because you had Brave installed and removed it, while trying different things.
I think your MX330 is Hybrid with your Intel - which is why you are seeing this - the Browsers init their GPU resourcing very early.
Apparently, there was a defalut version of brave, the one that was already installed with zorin, the one that doesent work, and this one its just called brave, i know that becuz it said if i wanted to make brave the default browser and it sais somethin like, u wanna change default-brave to brave-browser, so yeah, i guess thats it, idk how im gonna get protintricks or sinilars, but thats not really important, thanks bud @Aravisian
suddo apt install protontricks
What?
Similars*
Sorry xd
I am not sure what that is...
Oooh, sorry i was thinking that was a real word in english, sorry, i meant like alternatives, or things that are like almost the same
Idk man, we say "similares" in spanish and i tought the word in english was "similars", sorry xd
Ah - alternatives to what?
Alternatives to Protontricks, i remember a program that was like qproton or somethin like that
