If you have Zorin OS installed alongside another operating system on your computer, you should be able to select which operating system to boot from a menu that appears when the computer turns on. This is known as a “boot loader”, and in Zorin OS we use the GRUB boot loader.
However, if this menu disappears (for example, sometimes after a software update in Windows), you should be able to re-configure the boot loader so it will appear again by following these steps:
- Boot the Zorin OS installation USB on your computer again.
- After reaching the desktop, open the Zorin menu → System Tools → Boot Repair.
- Click the “Recommended repair” option to start the repair.
- Restart your computer.
