Hi there, I had the exact same error message appearing when trying to install any app, following a previous install that left some "sub-process" incomplete. The message you get appeared every time I tried to install a new app. In my case teamviewer.
If you can pick the bones out of that thread, it may be helpful to sort your problem.
My problem was fixed by completely removing all traces of the previous installation that had not completed 100%.
