Installing xfce on my Zorin Pro

Linux really is a learning experience, and from you telling your story, nobody knows that better then you Aravisian. But because you stuck with it as much as you did, and learned so much, is why you are able to help people today the way you do. Your hard work is much appreciated by me, and all the others on the team.

Frog and I both in recent times have already been down the road of a desktop environment going south and I am reasonably sure that neither of us wish to treat that path, again. :stuck_out_tongue:

In xfce on Zorin i have some problem.

The webbrowser going over a desktop my monitor.
Used intelligent hiding little help.
What I need choose here?

XFCE using more ram from GNOME?

RAM usage varies widely. The best way to make an accurate measure is to benchmark.

Next time I reboot, I will try to remember to do this.

Yup ... my sister-in-law and niece got a kick out of seeing my state of panic .... glad they didn't stay long as I went and laid down after they left ....

You folks will never believe what happened .... I had already logged out of the board and was deleting my open programs when I ran across my open Window folder ... the last one open ... I looked at all the blank Tile windows to settings and remembered how Aravisian's looked like and I said what the heck .... I wonder what would happen if i just hit edit and then hit 2 keys ... super and then first left arrow and then super and right arrow ... I never dreamed it would work ....

Then I was so tickled to death that I went back to the board to share my good news and the first thing I read freaked me out ... I couldn't believe I almost had to reinstall ALL of my desktop settings again .... if I hadn't opened the board back up that would have happened ...

OK I'm going to close this out and give all the credit to Aravisian because if he hadn't showed me a picture of how his Window looked I would never have made the changes to my Window and would have shut Zorin down and when I tried to open it this morning passed out when XFCE didn't open ....

Always, always always read the terminal output. It is much shorter than the average EULA.

@marko94
It is a bit high because FireFox autostarts and opens to the last Open Tabs at Boot:
ram-boot
