Intel B580 graphics issue

It are newer mesa packages, maybe it helps (whereby the ernstp ppa offers newer ones than the kisak fresh ppa)

Sorry for my late reply. removing the other ppa and move to the newer ones also didnt change anything. Still black screen. I will now try ubuntu 24.04 if they work there. If yes, I will swallow the hard pill and wait for Zorin 18, since I really believe in zorin OS and will also buy the pro variant again. XD
Till then, I stay with Windows (brr...) and test Ubuntu. I will use the time to save my data to go full into Linux. Finally.
Sorry for my rambling...

Better try ubuntu 25, because I'm not sure if the new kernel is in the iso of ubuntu 24.04.

In the documentation, they say its compatible. But dont worry, I will try both. If 24 is working great, I would feel better using Zorin OS 18, since I guess it will be based on Version 24 and not 25, since Zorin OS was always on the stable branch.

I have just looked it up again. As far as I understand it, kernel 6.14 and the new mesa drivers 25 are included in ubuntu 24.04.3. and are preinstalled in the .iso.

Yeah. This is why I hope, that Version 18 will release a few days or weeks before the windows 10 Lifetime ends. Just a small hope, but If it happens, I will be the first to download it, and of course, get the Pro Version. Sadly there isnt a "preorder" feature XD. By the way, is there a way to donate, besides buying the pro version?

Yes, here is a link to donate:

You can subscribe to the newsletter then you'll be informed when Zorin 18 will be released.

Thanks! Well, lets swing back to the Intel Arc topic.
I will try Ubuntu, while having Windows and Zorin installed (Although I reintall Zorin in the new version, just in case). And thank you all for your help.

I already subscribed to the newsletter since Zorin OS 15, which I still have the Pro Version of saved somewhere XD.
