Is Zen Browser really safe? and questions

Hey y'all! before switching to Zen Browser just to try it out... I see these unknown permissions that I've never heard of it so I'm not sure what they do and is it safe to use that browser? I'm just making sure and extra caution, just wanted to know from y'all.

and I have a few questions too!

A. Should I be worried about Zen Consumption that consumes resources like RAM, and CPU/GPU??

B. Is Zen Browser better than Brave? from y'all feedback, nothing bad about it, just curious about what y'all thoughts on it.

C. does Zen Browser send data to the Firefox when firebox changed their policy? If so then isn't it supposed to respects your privacy, and your data?

Better is to use a version that the developer of the zen browser offers.
You could install the Appimage.

ahh thanks, Is that what they uses this on Linux?

Yes, you can use the Appimage in Linux (I'd recommend this installation method because the Appimage package contains all dependencies/libraries that are required to launch the app and you can easyly install and remove it), or install the tarball.

zen.linux-x86_64.tar.xz

I see just now that the flatpak of zen browser is also from the developers. So if you prefer flatpaks you can use it.
The advantage is that you receive automatic updates. With all installation methods Zen Browser is still in Beta version.

Hummm, interesting! I've had to stop using Zen, it just freezes up and I can't get out of it. I wonder if I install it using Appimage it'll work? I've had trouble installing Appimage before, so thanks for the "how to" link above.

because I'm assuming it's in beta.

well they do have it on software so that's why I'm asking about these.

You can use it, it is from the developers.

yes but explain it of the permissions.
