Issues with keyboard layouts

I am struggling to get properly working keyboard layouts. Bellow are several issues I am encountering:

  1. There is no proper layout for my keyboard. But I managed to find there is another one is close to what I have, but some of the characters are not correct (https://kbdlayout.info/kbdbulg) (Issues during testing Zorin OS). Is Zorin team responsible for those layouts or I need to contact someone else?
  2. I have only one user account "Admin" in the system. Having 2 keyboard languages (BG and EN) if I logout there is not possible to switch languages at all. The keyboard shortcut is not working and there is no icon to switch the language either. Please fix it. If I have a password setup in a different language, I would not be able to login in such case.
  3. The keyboard shortcut language switch sometimes does not work (randomly). I press Fn+Shift and it sometimes struggles to switch the layout. Also sometimes when I change the app the languages changes, which I don't like. I would like to be in control what language is currently on, and nothing should switch the language without my knowledge.
  4. The option to change the language keyboard shortcut does not work at all. I do have Fn+Shift and that's the only option I have.

I am not sure if there are other people use multiple languages with Zorin, but I found it completely not usable. Please have a look at those issues cos I am very struggling with using zorin.

It is more a Gnome Thing. But maybe You could say what Keyboard Layout You need.

When using more than one Keyboard Layout, You should have on the Login Screen in the top right Corner an Indicator. Isn't this there?

Nope. And the shortcut is not working either.

Nope. On boot there is no language switcher so far and the keyboard does not contain such option, and the shortcut doesn't work :frowning:

How do I change the language shortcut? I cannot find such option. I'd like to change it to Ctrl+Shift or Alt+Shift.

Are there any people which use multiple languages? Or nobody uses Zorin? I am stuck.

go to keyboard > Additional Layout Options > Key(s) to change layout

You have on the Keyboard in the bottom right Corner a Gear Icon. when You click on it, what Options do You get?

English only language shown on that popup. However if I login into the desktop, I do have two languages. But the language keyboard shortcut randomly works.

Are there any updates? I cannot use Zorin because of those issues.
