Issues with Synology Active Directory Integration on ZorinOS

Hi everyone,

On a fresh and updated install of ZorinOS, I'm facing issues integrating ZorinOS with Synology Active Directory. I've successfully joined the domain and can see the user accounts, but I'm encountering an error stating that password authentication failed when trying to log in with a domain user.

Steps I've Taken:

  1. Installed necessary packages: sssd, realmd, adcli, krb5-user.
  2. Used realmd to discover and join the domain.
  3. Configured sssd.conf for Active Directory.
  4. Verified network connectivity to the Synology server.

Error Message:

"Password authentication failed."

Logs:

I've followed similar steps as mentioned in the previous post Unable to login to Synology Directory Server (Active Directory), but the issue persists.

Any help or additional steps to troubleshoot this issue would be greatly appreciated.
