I tried to edit my old post from back in July, but it's locked already!
Anyway, I've been "humming and ahhhing" about what do do with my dual boot - Windows X / Zorin HP laptop. Should I dual boot with Mint Cinnamon Wilma, so I can run Kodi? Mint just released a new kernel yesterday, which may well break my very old HP I use as my entertainment centre. Plus, I'm not sure it can even run Wilma, so its time is running short anyway.
While I was making and downloading the iso for the bootable USB on my Windows machine (as a back up for deleting the Windows partition), I thought I'd just check and see if all the new updates had made it possible for me to install Kodi Omega - and YES! It's installed and running just fine, so if things go sideways with Mint, I can just kick it to the kerb and use Zorin instead. I'm a happy bunny!
