After upgrading to zorin 17 lite on my old Asus T100TA is happening a weird problem on login. It dont recognise the password using the laptop keyboard. Only after some tries using the digital keyboard I have sucess login
So, you can type but the Password isn't correct? Did you controled the Keyboard Layout?
First, check [CapsLk] is not set.
Are you using any special characters that would be affected by keyboard language? Check keyboard language settings. Also type your password into a text editor and check the characters show as expected.
Caps Lock not set. Zorin warns me if it set. Simple word. No special character. Unlock after second or third try with digital keyboard. I know. It's so weird that it's hard to believe that it's not me typing the wrong letters.
Well, I change the password only to numbers. The problem remains. I can only log on using the digital keyboard. Is it possible that the keyboard goes to the "correct" configuration after log on?
It shouldn't ... When You are on the Login Screen. Did You see in the upper right Corner a Symbol (should be 2 Letters) for Your Keyboard Layout? Something like ''en'', ''fr'' or ''de'' for Example?
I see PT (from portuguese and it's what I pretend). Well, the problem is solved using the digital keyboad. But it's weird that the problem only occur at the login.
