On Brave Browser, Settings > Appearance - Set the slider to Yes or On for use system titlebar and borders and see if that works.

You can. Right click on the open area above the Bookmarks toolbar and select... Customize toolbar
Hidden at the bottom left side is the option for System Titlebars, with a checkbox.
Fun Fact: I do not have Firefox installed. I went to terminal and ran:
sudo apt install firefox
In order to verify this... And it would only install it if I installed Snapd and then; it would install it as a Snap, not through APT.

I'm... not sure about Flatpak. They supply their own themes and style... And they are isolated from the system themes.
You can try using Flatseal to allow it permission. But I do not know if the Flatpak FireFox retains the setting.

it is too damn complicated for me to install the firefox theme messing with so many effing files. heck with it ill use brave browser instead. 
When You download it from the Github Page, there is a tweaks.sh File in it. You open the Terminal, cd in the folder and the type ./tweaks.sh -f to install the default Theme for Firefox from WhiteSur. Or You add one of the listed Values toget another Look.
But i found no download link, there is my confusion
There are several Ways to download but I think this should be the easiest Way: On the Github Page, You click at the top right on the green ''Code'' Button and there You choose the ''Download ZIP'' Option:
For the main theme yes but not on the Firefox theme page
