Hello! i have made a simillar post a bit ago but i realized the issue and just need to know if theres any way to go above 100% in mic settings, zorin os 18 core btw, ive tried pavucontrol but it just goes back to 100%
btw i have tried the volume slider but it just goes back to 100 for some reason
When does it go back to 100. Immediately or after a reboot ?
Can you open a terminal session (type Ctrl+Alt+T) then run:
alsamixer
In alsamixer hit F6 to show soundcard/s and post a screenshot.
EDIT: Can you tell us more about your hardware (is it a new PC?), particularly audio and graphics components.
In terminal, can you type:
sudo lshw -C multimedia
and post the results here.
OK I have now dug through today's pile of unread threads and found your first post Mic isn't working after switching to zorin. Probably best to stick to just that thread, instead of duplicating/diluting effort here.
