Those tube amps you shared are most certainly for when you wish to have a warm sound signature. I however prefer the more crispness of sound an analytical nature of sound. And I can tell you right now, my SP200 is quite analytical lol.

Yes connections on dac are important, for balance example Audeze LCD2 Classic with balanse need a cable XLR. Everything have some quality - cable silver are diffrent from copper. Quality sound is here.
