My desktop icons get disorganized

I was thinking how to solve the problem of icons on the desktop rearranging by themselves and came up with 2 ideas. The first is to set the 2 commands proposed by zenzen to run automatically at times when users have reported that this problem happens (the icons might visibly disappear and reappear but it would be an “innocent” and “safe” glitch, so transcendental).
