Nala as package installer

I've tried it on Debian 13 (there it is available) and it really makes the Overview better in my Opinion. Maybe not as amuch as witl nala, but better that before.

Me neither.

Do I open Nautilis in the Terminal?

I'm just going to restart this laptop. I've been getting this weird display issue... all the text looks poor quality, grainy and difficult to read small text in particular. It affects image quality too. It's random though and a reboot usually fixes it. BRB

Your terminal output says that you had this file.

You enter the command in terminal and then wait until nautilus will be opened.

These folders/files are not in the home folder, but in root directory. When you open nautilus as root, you are in root directory at start of nautilus. Then click on etc>apt>sources.list.d
and then you can see the file nala-sources.list

But is is named in Your multiple configuration Issue:

W: Target Packages (restricted/binary-amd64/Packages) is configured multiple times in /etc/apt/sources.list:5 and /etc/apt/sources.list.d/nala-sources.list:3

All I can tell you is that when I typed it into the Terminal it said doesn't exist. I really have no idea.

Can you please post the screenshot of the terminal output?

Do you use another file manager than the default file manager nautilus, e.g. nemo?

Don't use sudo at the beginning of the command, only nautilus admin:/

Hi, no I don't use anything else. I've installed Nala but nothing else different, except Xorg, rather than Wayland.

It takes me a while to read and try to understand, and then perform the action. Please just give me a moment :folded_hands:

Take your time! There's no rush! If it works, you don't need to take a screenshot.
It's best not to search for the file yourself using the terminal (I personally find this more difficult), but rather after the file manager has opened.

sudo: nala: command not found

Is nala still installed on your system or do you have removed the app?

I think I've removed it. I just: sudo apt upgrade and it suggested I run sudo apt auto remove unneeded files. I'm waiting for it to finish. If I've broken the system I'll just use Timeshift to roll back, or do a fresh install.

Removing the app is of course also possible. You had always raved about Nala, so I thought you still had it on the system and wanted to keep it.
This explains why you can no longer find the file.
The apt package manager is no longer reporting any warnings, so everything seems to be fine again.

Yes, you're right, I liked using Nala a lot, but when things like this happen and I don't understand how or why, I think it's better for me to just remove it and stick to something simple. Thank you @Forpli, @Aravisian and @Ponce-De-Leon for your help and patience.

I rebooted and re-ran the update and upgrade commands with this output. I think everything looks good now:

Yes, everything looks fine now.
I'm not sure yet whether I'll continue using the programme nala. It's a bit unpredictable...I'm not entirely convinced yet, even though I like the look of the terminal output – but a good look isn't everything

I have decided to remove Nala. That uncertainty was not something I wish to try to untangle at a later date.

I like it, but it is not so different from APT to me to make the cost to benefit ratio turn in its favor.

I do like the latest APT changes, as well. I may test those on a test rig by using @littlekun's link to access the Unstable Repo:

Thanks Aravisian

And there is a Stable repo as well, if this helps:
