inside put nautilus -c -s $PWD
inside /etc/rc.local to end segment fault error
puts the error away just before exit 0 line
and chmod 0755 /etc/rc.local
I also added GRUB_DEFAULT_SHELL="gnome-shell --mode=zorin -r --sync" to top off in /etc/default/grub
The below information can lead the user to remove the Zorin OS Desktop Environment.
The following posts detail this issue.

You can absolutely uninstall and reinstall Nautilus. If you can live with all of the other problems you're having and your Nautilus issue is related exclusively to Nautilus and not to other parts of Gnome, you may be able to fix your specific problem with Nautilus.
Summary
To do that:
Code:
sudo apt remove nautilus
... to remove nautilus. I would reboot afterwards before reinstalling, although this is, strictly speaking, not required.
Code:
sudo apt install nautilus
.. to install Nautilus.
I am not a Nautilus user, so I cannot comment on its configuration files. I believe any configuration choices should be fairly simple to re-apply through Nautilus' menus.
PCManFM is simply another file manager, not dependent on Gnome and unrelated to Nautilus. Its presence or absence will have no impact on Nautilus' functionality.
Using sudo apt remove on Zorin OS can result in removing the entire Zorin OS Desktop Environment as a dependency - which can be a headache to deal with.
Well that figures ..... I read your post to late after I used "sudo apt remove" .... so I then ran as you suggested ..... "sudo apt install --reinstall nautilus" and got this in the terminal .....

I don't use Nautilus but rather Nemo .... did I mess something up ????? ..... probably ....
Nothing is ever simple for me ..... remember I'm on Cinnamon DE .....

I did delete all the Zorin .icons as I don't use them anyway ..... maybe that is what the terminal is saying ..... plus I did delete Nautilus as I'm using Nemo .... so maybe this really doesn't matter as I'm running Cinnamon DE anyway .....
Well I deleted Timeshift also a week ago when I managed to mess things up royally using it .... I ended up with 218 GB out of a 1 TB hard drive left after making a full disk backup so I deleted that program and went back to Rescuezilla ....
I just got done yesterday wiping my Zorin drive and reinstalled the OS from a Zilla copy ..... I am at the present doing this on average about every 2-3 days and although I have a lot of patience I don't mind saying I'm getting dang tired of have to always reinstall .....
I know it is mostly my fault as I don't know what I doing and I am trying not to keep asking on the board by trying to find the answers myself either on-line or by myself ..... and that ain't working out so good ......
I'm going to shut down and restart the laptop ..... if all goes well I'll keep what I have for the present till something goes wrong then reinstall ..... if I can't get into Zorin on restart like yesterday ..... ROG splash screen for 90 mins ...... I will reinstall Zorin again ..... thank god I made a bootable gParted thumb drive .... I can wipe the drive and reinstall Zorin in about 2 hrs .... got it down pat .....
Well on a happier note I shut the laptop completely down and restarted and everything appears to be normal .... so we shall see ..... didn't try going into Gnome but everything appears to work using Cinnamon DE .... so fingers crossed ...... we'll see what happens .....
Sorry had to stop for lunch ..... here is what I got .....

It is called Fishing Planet and is free on Steam ..... I'll try to find a link next time I log into Steam ..... also get some screen shot posted here when I find a different photo app ..... XnViewer MP is getting to be a PITA as I forgot how I had it set up before and the settings are so small I literately have to use a magnifying glass to read them .... and I can't find anyway to enlarge the text .....
Nope looks OK from this angle ..... at least no warning or error notifications ..... at least that I can see ....
